Weigh In Day!!!

Well I thought I'd let you all know today is weigh in day for us at the YMCA and I hope to have lost at least 20 pounds. We'll see I'll be back later for the total. Wish me luck!!...
OK I'm back from the weigh in and I couldn't believe my ears! 31 POUNDS!!! WOOT WOOT! I might share a little candy because of my sucess. I'll look around and see what I can find!

I was looking at the color throw down blog and seen this great blog candy on http://mylifesinkyescapeandmore.blogspot.com/ She has some great stuff she is giving away for her one year blogaversary!! Terrific Tuesday....

I made this card for a friend of mine who is retiring this week. We'll see if she makes it to work the rest of the week. She took lack of work on Monday and called in her last sick day today. We have collected almost $100 for her present from just her co- workers. I am in charge of getting her something with the money. I told the people I work with that I would buy a $50 gift card to Cracker Barrel and with the rest of the money I would get her a gift certificate to her beauty shop, because she gets perms on a regular basis. I thought it sounded like a good idea and so did so of the other girls.

Anyhoo, on with the card I used the Feb '09 stamp of the month called Easter Eggs and also the set called Dainty Thoughts. I used blush, chocolate, hollyhock, and colonial white card stock. Big pinks flowers and the chocolate collection ribbon rounds, and crystal stickles. I thought it looked pretty plain, but I guess it is alright. I hope you all enjoy.

Another Monday...

Thought I share this little goodie for today. I used the new stamp set from Close to my Heart called Good Times and used the Life Delights paper pack. Just a little random stamping and viola it' done. I did see this on the Close to my Heart bulletin board by Susan Shockley. She had several cards I lifted from her, but I changed mine up a little bit. Using different colors. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful night!

Here's a little sample of what I have been I've been up yo lately. I had a workshop yesterday and we did this 2 page LO and had a lot of FUN. I made several cards to show off the Stamp Of The Month and the Constant Campaign for February from Close to My Heart. While I was getting ready for the party I was also getting ready for my singing debut at church today. We have recently joined a new church and I showed them I can sing with the Lord's help. I sand Bread Paisley's song "When I get where I'm going". It looked like everyone was moved, because I seen a lot of people wiping their eyes. I can't tell you how good the Lord is to me because there is just so much he has done for me and my family. If you are a true Christian you can relate. I really hope everyone had a great Sunday and hopefully a better Monday. So I'm off for the night1

It's been awhile.

Hello all! It's been awhile since my last blog, but I have been busy, busy, busy. I thought I would share with you a LO I did a few weeks back. I really love this paper and I thought this picture suited it well.

We had our pictures made in October by a friend of mine and this was one of my many favorites. I have a workshop tomorrow and I have been making cards all night. I'll try to get some pictures of what I did and post them for your viewing pleasure. Ha Ha!

As I said before I have been so busy with all the birthday's we have this month. The most important is that of my beautiful little girl. She turned 5 this month and it was really hard on me. My baby is growing up. Well I guess better get going because my hubby is trying to set up the Wii we just got out of layaway and he wants me to help set it up. So everyone have a great Saturday and as always
